The Arc San Francisco is a lifelong learning and achievement center for over 700 individuals with developmental disabilities in San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties.


Program participants can choose a single path or Program (Adult Life & Skills, Employment Development, Careers & Advancement), or a combination that works best for his or her lifepath and goals. Revisit coursework, learn new skills or reinforce others at any stage of adulthood.


Our Services support a community life that is independent, healthy and engaged through our Residential, Health & Wellness and Seniors Services. Plus Friends Like Me is the place to be for afterhours recreation and socialization with peers and friends.

Vocational Rehab

So you graduated college and ....Now What? Voc Rehab or Vocational Rehab is a special service available for young adults with CP to learn job skills. Samneng talked about getting work training through the Vocational Rehab department in Oakland. He did some volunteer work following his training and got a well paying job now. Find a "Voc Rehab" place near you or look for help while you still in high school! Also check out the video explaining what Voc Rehab can do for you.
